About Me
Hi, I’m Julia
Years ago, I experienced a powerful spiritual awakening that revealed to me a universal truth: that each one of us is full of divine potential and is worthy of living the life that we love. A lifetime of trauma and wounding can cloud our knowing of this absolute truth about ourselves. This experience was the catalyst for me to become a therapist; so that I could help people in their own journey of healing, self discovery, and awakening.
I carry this transformative energy of my awakening into my work with my clients:
I have absolute certainty that you are capable of change in any area of your life that you choose— no matter what challenges life has brought you thus far.
As a therapist, I am compassionate, non-judgemental, and fiercely open-minded. I love to work with people from all different belief systems and backgrounds. I am intuitive, trauma-informed and have a deep understanding of energy & how trauma is stored in the body.
Growing up, I was raised in a lively music-and-arts-loving family, which has played a big role in the way in which I experience the world. Along my path, I discovered the world of improvised dance and singing, which has taught me how trauma can be transmuted through artistic expression.
Traveling has likewise been an important part of my personal journey. I have spent years exploring the world solo, from the remote mountaintops of rural Vietnam, to the dense cities of Turkey and Mexico. This has offered me not only the rich experience of self-discovery and personal growth, but most importantly it has shown me how cultures around the world live. I’m in awe of the wonderful differences I’ve seen in cultures across the world, and I find a sweet comfort in the similarities across all human beings. At our core, we all desire the same basic things: community, security, connection to spirit, art and love.
I would be honored to guide you through your personal journey of self-love, empowerment and transformation.
